Earlier this year, I participated in my first recording and live performance project since the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns. Through my ongoing membership and guest tutorship with Oasis One World Choir, we joined a fantastic cohort of accomplished musicians and added our choir voice and unique message of hope and solidarity to an absolutely beautiful composition by Catrin Finch.

It was a pleasure to sing the powerful words ‘One breath, one voice, one song, one world and we belong’ in the beautiful Valle Crucis Abbey in Llangollen surrounded by friends from Oasis One World Choir (choir leaders-Laura Bradshaw, June Cambell-Davies and Tracy Pallant).
Due to the pandemic, the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod was held online, but it didn’t get in the way of the true spirit of the festival, the peace and goodwill message, nor the ability of music to spread a harmonious and calming energy to all involved. It was a beautiful experience and a privilege to be involved in the whole process.
